Dear friends and followers,
Many of you already have heard that I'm a huge fan of telling people exactly what to do. A select few of you have had the pleasure of hearing my voice very near your actual head doing just that. Well guess what: Now everyone can enjoy the privilege—right in your ear!
Dear Mistress is something that's been kicking around in my head for a while now, and my good buddy Axe—the brilliant producer of Masocast—had a conversation not too long ago in which we decided it was only fitting for me to shoot my pearls right into all of your faces.
What the fuck am I talking about, you ask? Fair question. Many people have written me really interesting letters over the years, and when it's particularly deserved, I reply with clever candor. I took some of those letters, fixed your punctuation and grammar, and added a little polish to a few of your words, and spoke them into Axe's huge mic, and answered them. I'll continue to do this as long as I find it as entertaining as I currently do. What that means is you should keep sending me your letters, let me know if you'd like me to tighten them up and make you sound really interesting, and I just may write a special response for a new Masocast recording. Aren't you lucky.

Dear Mistress Alex - I listened to your "Dear Mistress" episodes on the Masocast podcast the other day and absolutely loved them. What a delight to walk through midtown Manhattan, earbuds buzzing and a huge smile on my face as I listened to these pithy gems. I am trying to decide if it was your voice or intellect that enchants, a bit of both I think.
You strike an unusual figure: projecting an aura of intimidation and dangerousness, while also coming across as carefree and caring, sensible, whimsical, whip smart, funny and fun. Yet, never once do I get the sense that you are anything but Seriously Dominant. Not that any of these attributes are contradictory. It's just that one does not often see them come across so apparently and deliciously.
So, at the risk of boiling you down to a cliche, this smitten sub wishes to say congratulations and thanks! Respectfully - BT
